I've made available links to two Cold War International History Project working papers written by Dr. Bernd Schaefer, as cited in an upcoming interview with Dr. Schaefer to be hosted by The Daily NK, here and here. Fantastic stuff.
Fantastic, Chris. Thanks for posting the link esp. to the latest and greatest Schaefer paper on North Korean unification policy 1971-1975....Imagine Chairman Mao telling the North Koreans to settle down, disappointed in the impotency of the revolutionary wave on the peninsula! I guess a few things really have changed since 1950 after all.
This blog is written by the Manager of International Affairs for Daily NK and Co-editor of Sino-NK. However, while the opinions contained in it may match those of his employer or scholarly colleagues, that will be a coincidence and should not be seen as anything more. Come and see me on Twitter @Dest_Pyongyang.
